Hippity Hoppity - Donna's Milk Chocolate Cartons

 Hello Crafty Friends!
Don't you just love our March Kit?! The super cute Echo Park papers make crafting so much fun. So...... time to grab that kit, add a few chocolates, and let the Easter Crafting...... BEGIN!!

Hi everyone, WOW, can you believe it is March already !! What happened to January and February????

I am loving the March kit from Aunty Vera called Hippity Hoppity and yep you guessed it: EASTER time which means CHOCOLATES, Yah Yah !!

Ok peeps, I have a giveaway this month with one of my projects. To win it, all you need to do is comment on each project and at the end on the month I will draw a name out of the Easter Bunny Hat...  Don't forget you must comment on all four projects for a chance to win the prize..

Today I have created three little milk cartons filled with yumo choccies and a little tray holder... Would be brilliant as a gift or on the table on Good Friday, (anything with choccies are good anytime lol)..

Cut one piece of white cardstock at 22.5cm x 14 cm.
Score on all four sides at 4 cm and cut to score lines as shown..
Cut a little sliver off the tabs so it folds easier..
Make your box.  Watch Process Here

Die cut three milk cartons from the Stampin Up die from Sizzix. (there are templates on the web or on Pinterest if you don't have this die).

Die cut a background (I used the Grand Nestabilities Label Twenty-Three from Spellbinders - the second smallest) and emboss.

Die cut a mat for the tray (I used the Grand Nestabilities Label Twenty-Three one size smaller than the background piece). You can see here around the edges how I embossed the piece after cutting it out.

Cut 12 pieces of patterned paper at 1 1/2 inches x 1 7/8 inches.
Ink around the edges using the Clearly Kelly vibrant Yellow ink and adhere to the milk boxes.

Cut 4 pieces (2 inside and 2 outside) of patterned cardstock @ 14cm x 3.5cm.

Cut 4 pieces (2 inside and 2 outside) of patterned cardstock at 5.5cm x 3.5cm.

Punch a 1inch circle.

Punch a scalloped 1 1/4 inch circle as shown.

Cut a piece of cardstock @ 6 3/4 inches x 3 1/4 inch and decorate the base (I used a Martha Stewart 'around the page punch').

Place all the pieces together as shown in my youtube video.
And Voila you now have this...

Decorate as desired..

I cut a 1 inch circle from the milk carton box, placed a piece of acetate over the hole and then the scalloped circle as a frame to make it look pretty..

I tied the boxes using the gorgeous twine that is with this month's kit..

Back of the holder, don't you just love this little bunny die...

I hope I have inspired you to create Glorious things..
Thank you for stopping by..
Hugs
DONNA xx
