Coming to Town - Bella's Glass Ornament

Hi everyone, today I am stepping back and my youngest daughter Bella has taken over my craft room for this project. Thank you to Aunty Vera for sending Bella a little gift which inspired this project,

To start hubby cut the stem off a wine glass, (these can be purchased really cheap at Big W).

Next Bella cut the background in white glitter cardstock with the Sizzix - Tim Holtz - Alterations - Thinlits Die- Tree line.

She glued the trees to the inside of the glass.

Aunty Vera's gift to Bella was this packet of Tim Holtz - Idea - ology - Decorative Deer. Thank you Aunty Vera xxx

Bella brushed them with Gel medium and then sprinkled glitter over them.

She did the same with some Tim Holtz - Idea - ology - Woodland Tree Lot - Mini - Pack of 5. Then she cut out the base in white cardstock x 2 and glitter cardstock x2 and glued them onto each other to make a sturdy base.

Next she glued the deers and trees to the base,

Now she glued the glass to the base,

To hang the ornament Bella glued a piece of ribbon to the top of the glass where the stem was cut off.

Then she wound some trim around the ribbon to make sure it stays in place.

And now the fun part which means bringing out the hot glue gun. I always have a spare glue stick on hand as she loves to be heavy handed with that glue gun in the name of creation.
