The Place Where I Belong - Sue's Vintage Inspired Tags

Welcome back to another of my Creative Team projects.  

 For this project I have made some tags for journaling on.  Although I have not made them specifically for my ring bound journal they could be used in there.  They are all very simple and quick to make.

Small decorative flowers

First step is to cut the tags from the kraft card stock.  I cut out 4 and made mine 9cm wide and 27cm long.

 

The next step is to cover the tags with the vintage book pages and music paper.  It can be glued on anyway you wish.  Then cut the corners off so you make the tag shape.

For the first tag I cut out the corner flowers from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Paper – Floral Corners paper and added one of the small tags cut from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Paper – Tags paper. I distressed the edges of everything with Tim Holtz walnut stain distress ink.  I also added a small circle piece of ephemera from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Frames & Tags pack.

 

The second tag has two pockets cut from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Paper – Antique Floral paper and embellished with elements from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Frames & Tags pack. I also added some flowers cut from some trim. 

 

The third tag has a long tuck spot made from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Paper – Antique Floral paper and elements from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Frames & Tags pack.

I also made a forth tag using the Carta Bella Farm House Market Paper – Floral Corners paper and an element from the Carta Bella Farm House Market Frames & Tags pack.

 

I finished all the tags of with some cut up crochet doilies. 

I left the backs blank so they could be used for journaling.
