C is for Cookie - Tina's Home Baked Treat Gift 2 - Cookie Bag.

Hello Crafty Friends!
It's pouring rain here today - perfect for baking some lovely home made treats.
When you share those treats..... Tina's cookie bags are just perfect for giving them that extra special touch!

Hi everyone here is the second of my three easy home baked treat holders.

Cookie Bags.

Start by cutting the paper at 10 1/2'' x 6 1/2''.

Score at 3',' 5'', 8'' and 10'' as shown below.

Turn and score at 1/2'', 2'' and 4 1/2''.

Fold along all scorelines, folding the longer 1/2''  the opposite way from the other folds, ( this will be the top) burnishing all folds well. Turn the paper so that the long 1/2'' side is on the top and cut away the bottom left corner piece. Snip the bottom as shown in the picture below, cutting away a little more of an angle on the smaller pieces.

Fold and glue the right side to the left side 1/2'' tab.

Fold and glue the two smaller tabs on the bottom to each other then the larger ones  to close the bottom.

Tuck in the sides gently and pinch the top together letting it form naturally on both sides.

I added two holes on the top left and right sides making sure I went through the four layers on both sides and used ribbon from this months theme to hold closed. I finished the bag with a little tag and some cut outs from the papers.

A perfect little bag for some home baked goodies.

I hope you enjoyed this project, I will be back next time with the mini cookie parcel tutorial.
