Easter Flip Books 2016 with Echo Park

Hello Crafty Bloggers!

We have more Easter loveliness today as Amira shares her Easter Flip Books. What's a Flip Book you ask? Read on............

Merry Easter One & All,

Gosh is it Easter already??

Well you know what they say, time flies when you are having fun and oh what fun I've been having.

Today I am using the Echo Park Easter 2016 Collection to bring you Flip Books- the latest trend in know Craftywood, cousin to Hollywood, Bollywood- yes? No? LOL

Any hoo- check out this gorgeous Easter Flip Book I made:

I cut the banner using a die by Kaisercraft and then added letters to spell the word Easter using glitter card stock.

And here is a closer look at this darling on the front cover.

I got this from a free downloadable here

Now when you flip the book open, the first 2 pages you see are these:

Then when you flip again, you see these:

Then when you flip again you see this:

Here is a closer look at each page :

Did you see my hidden message:

And of course, I couldn't NOT add a little Gorjuss girl in amongst it all....

After more flipping, here is another revealed spread:

Did you see this cute little cut apart that I added a paper tole Peter Rabbit to?

He came from this set of sheets which I ordered a LONG time ago when I met Aunty Vera in 2014.

Here is another fussy cutting  scene I just absolutely adore:

In one of the pockets, there is an Easter card which I made to the lucky recipient of this Easter Flip Book.

More cute Peter Rabbit characters in 3D paper tole....

And yet a further flip reveals this spread:

A quick peak behind that project life card reveals:

And finally, the back of the flip book :

So much fun!!!

Here is another one I made:

The first flip reveals this double page spread:

The second flip reveals this one:

The third flip reveals these cute characters I cut from a sticker book I have had for a while:

This page has GOT to be my favourite <3

And the back of the book looks like this:

So here they are side by side:

Now, flip books are meant to be interactive so if you wanted to see how they looked in action, I recorded this show and tell here:

Thank you SO much for stopping by and I'd love a comment below letting me know how you celebrated your Easter.

Happy crafting...

WOW! Amira! I just love love LOvE these flip books! Thank you so much for sharing.
I fainted when I saw the first one. Then I saw you made TWO!....... DOUBLE FAINT!!!!!

Hello Crafty Bloggers!

We have some more Easter treats for you today with some lovely Easter cards from Leanne.
I totally LOVE this year's Easter collection from Echo Park Paper Co. Such pretty colour schemes and fun designs - they're perfect for your Easter layouts and make for fabulous cards......

Leanne also had a play with Sticko's Easter Egg Hunt glitter stickers, giving herself the challenge of creating a sticker-based card. It turned out pretty gorgeous I think! Just love that bunting!!

Thank you Leanne! They're just so sweet!!

What about you Crafty Friends? Have you been Easter card making? Are you planning some special Easter layouts?

We'd love to hear about your Easter Crafting!

Brighten your Easter Baskets with Easter Mini-Tags

Hello Crafty Bloggers!

As we head towards the Easter Weekend, I thought I would share some quick Easter mini-tags that I made from a couple of last year's Easter collections......

These tags are with the ever so cute Easter Parade collection from Doodlebugs..........

And here is a mini-tag featuring Echo Park's Hippity Hoppity.......

I'll be personalizing them by adding another element with each child'name, and tying them to some special childrens' baskets of Easter treats.

Pop back in tomorrow for some more Easter fun.

Aunty Vera :)
