Well, I don't know about you, but here in Aunty Vera World it's Christmas Tree Day. And after last year's Christmas (in a motel room in Hollywood with a tree shaped balloon as our Christmas Tree), I really needed my fresh Christmas Tree fix. So off to Dural Christmas Tree Farm we went in search of the perfect tree....
Now this is such a gorgeous place to visit. Too bad my boys are too old and boring (oops, don't tell them I said that) and wouldn't come along. A couple of years younger and they would have loved running through the hundreds of trees.....
We picked out our 'perfect tree' and then went over to the other part of the farm - Sydney's Christmas Barn. Oooohhh.....aisles and aisles of decorations! Here's the white and silver aisle...
Hubby showed such great restraint by not purchasing another set of lights...he has a bit of a Light Habit (I'll share some of his lights with you later in the week). Reckon we'll be stopping in to pick up next year's set though (he's allowed ONE new set a year...lol). Here's a little corner of the lights display...

And look who we found sitting in his sleigh under the big industrial fan.....
Poor Santa...not used to these temperatures.......forecast to hit almost 40 today!!! (that's 104 farenheit, my American friends). I sure hope he survived the heat!!
