WREATHS
Using FarmHouse Market Embellishments
This is a fun easy little project that will add some country style charm to any wall in your home.
The wreaths themselves are made from a thin wire ring, I used what I had in my supplies, but if you have actual round pre-made wreath rings, you can use them as well.
I had two small wire rings and one larger wire ring and wanted to make them thicker in size. So, I decided to wrap some masking tape around each wire ring to add some width and dimension on them. I went round at least three times, leaving the masking tape wrapped rather loosely on each ring. This gave my ring a thicker feel to it.
When I was happy with the thickness, on the larger ring I wrapped a layer of macrame cord I had in my supplies.
The finished larger ring
On a smaller ring I wrapped a layer of hessian with white lace but when it came to decorating this one, the white lace over hessian wasn't working for me, so I pulled it off and wrapped a layer of the white macrame rope over it. The one below was this change.
On the last small ring I wrapped a layer of hessian rope that I had in my supplies.
All the covered rings looked great and now it was time to decorate them.
I pulled out my Big Shot and grabbed my left over pieces of the Farmhouse Market papers from Carta Bella and also a flower die and butterfly die. Then I started die cutting as much as I could.

I made up the flowers by rolling my bone file down over the edges, used hot glue to put the pieces together, inked the edges with vintage ink and the hot glued a flat back pearl in the center of each flower.
After cutting out the butterflies, I added a few beads in the center of each one.
While I was using my Big Shot, I decided to cut out the letters to make our theme title for this month. These were cut from the FarmHouse Market left over papers as well, using the Kaisercraft Grunge Alpha set. This is a wonderful letter set to have in your supplies, very quirky letters that I love.
I added a layer of my Dimensional Magic to each letter after I went round the edges with a black marker. They turned out great.
Now it was time to decorate each wreath. On the larger one I added a couple of large butterflies, some flowers, some leaves and also some rolled tuille I had in my supples. I only decorated the lower half of this wreath.
On one of the smaller wreaths with the hessian rope, I made it have more of a country style and I used a couple of flowers and the die set of a farmhouse girl with her little animals. The fence was from a die in my supples.
On the last small wreath, I hot glued the small butterflies completely around the ring and added a couple of flowers. I also hot glued a piece of calico to the back and this allowed me to glue my words down. This turned out so very pretty.
These were wonderful fun projects to make. I think they all look beautiful.
You can watch a quick process of how I wrapped each ring below...
I really hope you enjoyed this project.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
