Today our Craft Friend Suzanne shares a gorgeous trio that really makes the Julie Nutting Paper Dolls collection shine!
Enjoy!.....
I am so totally IN LOVE with the November kit from Aunty Vera. 'My Crafty Friend' just speaks to me. The beautiful paper from Julie Nutting, gorgeous Stamping Bella stamp and the Prima flowers are all so beautiful and match perfectly with the gorgeous Santoro Pearl Drops and lovely ribbon from Docrafts.
For my third project, I have made a bookmark pocket tag, an accordion album and a box for it to go into.
Bookmark pocket tag.
First I cut a large tag using my sizzix bigz xl die and covered it with the beautiful blue check paper from the collection. I used another die to cut a pocket for the front of the tag. This pocket is for the bookmark to go in.

The pocket for the front of the tag
and added one of the doll stickers from the sticker sheet and a sentiment on a banner flag sticker
Also in the kit is this beautiful spellbinders Thank you and birdie die
Here I have added the 'Thank you' sentiment and the little bird. I also cut the doll with sentiment from the cover page that is with the paper pack and glued it onto the pocket tag
The beautiful Maya road feathers made a beautiful accent for the top of the tag along with some of the gorgeous docraft ribbon
I decided to use a sentiment from one of the 4 x 6 cut-a-parts to add to the tag and a one of my handmade roses
This is the finished bookmark pocket tag.

Accordion album
The accordion album that I am decorating was from a destash that I attended recently. The small album measures 5 1/4 inches.
I cut 12 pieces of patterned paper to cover all of the accordion album pages and used a 3 x 4 cut-apart for the front cover. I used coordinating ink to ink all the edges of the paper.
Below you can see all of the covered pages and the stickers and die cuts that I used to make frames for some of the pages. I wanted to be sure there was plenty of room left on each page for photographs.

Front of album:
For the front cover, I used a 3 x 4 cut-apart from the Julie Nutting paper and I used one of the small dolls from the cover page that is included in the paper pack. I have added a small heart and flower die cut, one of my handmade flowers and a metal scissor embellishment.
I also made a box for the accordion album to go in. It measures 5 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. I totally forgot to take pictures but the process is very simple. Because the album measures 5 1/4 inches I made the base of the box 5 1/2 inches square. The sides of the box are 3/4 inch high so the piece of cardboard for the box needs to measure 7 inches by 7 inches. Score at 3/4 inch all the way around the box and cut small tabs into each corner. To make the lid all the you need to do is add 1/8 of an inch to the inside measurement of the lid top. This means you lid will measure 7 1/8 inch x 7 1/8 inch and score at 3/4 inch all the way around. Cut small tabs into the corners to form the lid. I get this very strong cardstock from Daiso. It comes in a pack of three pieces on kraft, green or brown.
I added some of the beautiful paper onto the lid and sides of the box
and added a sticker from the sticker sheet to a decorative die cut and popped it up on foam tape on the lid
To finish it off, I used a piece of the beautiful ribbon from the kit as a closure for the box
Here are some shots of the finished project
I hope you, all my crafty friends, have enjoyed having a look at this project.
