Coming to Town - Tina's Christmas Album

Hello everyone. Today I wanted to share a little album I made to keep yearly Christmas memories in. I really like how it turned out so I think I can make one for birthdays and other occasions too.

To start, I cut out my outside cover and insert as shown below.

Next, score all the pieces as shown in the image below.

Fold along score lines.

Glue the two smaller pieces together as shown below.

Next, I cut out the patterned paper and covered the pieces.

Attach the left spine of  the smaller piece to the spine of the larger piece.

Next I made a pocket to fit into the smaller insert.
Cut a piece of card as shown below.

Score as shown below.

Then cut away the pieces coloured in red.

Fold along the score lines and snip away the flap to fold into place later.

I find it easier to add the patterned paper first before making up the pocket.

Glue the pocket onto the insert.

Next I added some ribbon for the closure on the front and back.

I used the Tim Holtz - Layering Stencil - Falling Stars on the front and back cover.

Finally it's time to decorate the album. I made a small pocket on the inside to place the little notebook I made.

The next page I placed a photo mat for Christmas photos.

The larger pocket makes a great spot for a gift but later can be used to keep Christmas cards. I added a small pocket on the right hand page.

Finally, the back page with another photo mat.

I finished the front cover with some of the Echo Park - My Favorite Christmas - Puffy Stickers and My Favorite Christmas - Chipboard Accents.
