Hello Crafty friends,
I'm back with a giveaway for AVSC, using the beautiful Love & Art kit.
I have made a selection of cards and embellishments. This will show you what can be done
with left over papers from the kit.
I tend to keep the smallest pieces of papers and end up with lots of scraps.
This is a way of making useful items with those left over bits and pieces.
The First Card I made is a pocket card.
Here I used the large cart-apart Hugs and Kisses, making the card slightly bigger than the cut-apart and layering it.
I used patterned cardstock from my collection and the card is made with black cardstock.
On the inside of the card I made a pocket using the same patterned cardstock as the front of the card.
I placed two magnetic discs one at the top of the card and one on the pocket to ensure that the card remains closed.
I then covered the magnetic discs and finished the card with a banner with hearts that I die cut using small leftover pieces of paper from the kit..
I made a small card from the cut-apart sheet and a tag to place in the pocket.
Here I have made several cards using the remaining cut-apart pieces, layering to highlight the contrasting colours.
There were lots of small offcuts and I used them to make embellishments that can be used for future projects. I also made some tags.
Little gift tags are a great way to use up small pieces of paper.
I hope you all enjoyed my project and find value in utilising all of your left over pieces.
This wonderful kit can be purchased HERE along with many more amazing products.

Thank you and Happy Crafting

I love all the things you have made. I love using scraps, and if it is some of my favourite paper, I save it for just the right project. I have quite a few pull aparts that I need to use, so will put it on my large to do list. Gorgeous work. Thanks
ReplyDeletewow. That's gorgeous. Truly impressive

ReplyDeleteThere was a lovely lady,
ReplyDeleteWho found a box of goodies,
She played with it daily,
And made a stack of goodies.
She made trinkets here and there,
Cards, pins, tags and banners,
Just so many and all so fair,
Crafting with fun for her endeavour.
